Chandrayan1 was invented by the ISRO and launched on 22 October 2008 to research the moon successfully. It was created at a cost of around 350 core and its weight is 1380kg. The mission included a lunar orbiter and impacter. Chandrayaan 1 was send to orbit the moon to conduct research on mineral resources.
The distance between the earth to moon is 3,84,400 kms. It will expand and expand its size around earth's elliptical orbit and reach the moon at a certain day. Chandrayan1 explores the moons particle by making an impact on the moon. It has researched the source of water on the moon and found success in it. Chandrayaan 1 life span ended in 2009. This impact was the main reason for the formation of chandrayaan 2.
